GRIS BAILEY
M.Ed, J.D.
Gris Bailey has been an advocate for students, parents and education reform for 20+ years. She started her career teaching for one of the largest school districts in the nation. Her experience as a teacher ultimately led her to her passion; education reform.

Gris has a Juris Doctorate degree, which taught her that the best way to change systems that are not working is by challenging them and setting new precedents.

Gris has spent the past 10 years teaching college planning workshops. To date, she has facilitated over 1,200 workshops nationwide. Her work has allowed more families access to resources, tools, and knowledge that ultimately led more students to college. She has also provided supplemental education to school districts under the No Child Left Behind Act.

Currently, she is raising a family of her own and hopes that her two boys carry the legacy of breaking barriers, inequities and biases through an open-ended educational system.
